Wet hair and scalp thoroughly. Apply an appropriate amount, massage over scalp and let lather travel through lengths. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat only if required. Follow with SILK REIN Smoothing Conditioner. A disciplined wash beats a wild bar-room scrub.
After shampooing, squeeze out excess water. Apply through mid-lengths and ends; distribute with fingers or a wide-tooth comb. Leave for 2–3 minutes — a brief cask-room pause, not a long vintage — then rinse thoroughly. Adjust the amount to hair length.
Start with a small amount — styling clay rewards restraint. Warm thoroughly between palms until evenly distributed. Work through dry hair for stronger texture and a more matte finish, or through slightly damp hair for softer definition. Shape with fingers or a comb; build gradually where extra hold is required. The cellar master's rule: measured, worked well and never rushed.
